| We Fade My soul numbs like a body amidst the icy waves of the Atlantic Ocean I vainly try to keep afloat, but sink as the waves take me under I watch from below the sickening motion I watch as every fiber of my being is ripped asunder I let go, and let the peace of my destruction be my guide I cannot fight the demons of this existence anymore For too long I have stupidly, and weakly tried Now both my mind, and body are irreparably tore Slip into misery, and the darkness within ourselves Let it consume all of your being as together we meld: The dagger of hate into our flesh it delves Too long onto this life we have held Hold my hand as we form one shadow of hate Let us become one out of pain of life, and complacency of death Let us together walk to the afterlife's gate Let us together breathe our last breath Sirens sing as we near our resting place Screams of agony fill our sensitive ears, and minds In our agony, and woe we give death chase Hoping for the peace that in his company people like us finds Slowly I fade into nothing as you in turn the same Hand in hand we numb, and we grow dim of existence, and all Both of us have grown weary of this diseased game Hand in hand into the painlessness of death we fall You hold me closer as your vision leaves you I grab onto you tighter than ever before As for others' understanding there are few But who cares when you're at death's door Let me breathe in your essence, and look into your eyes I give up my last breath as I slip away You know I never was good at goodbyes In this wretched world we agreed we cannot stay Let death consume our crippled souls Feel his icy breath breathe on your neck as you die Watch the angels pour out their apocalyptic bowls Your last breath is a relieved sigh And so with my last ounce of weak tenacity I kiss you I watch as we fade into the absence of anything In all of this pain, and torture I have no rue No matter what only true peace can death bring |
