Cold And Flu Ointment
    
Cold formula undiluted
15drops Peppermint oil
15drops Eucalyptus oil
15drops Black Pepper oil
8 drops Rose OIl
5 drops Camphor oil
4 drops Patchouli oil

Basic Ointment Recipe
4 tsp canola oil
1 tsp beeswax
Melt beeswax and oil together in a glass measuring  cup placed in a pat of hot water over med. heat.

To Make cold ointment: remove beeswax / oil mix mix from heat and add 15 drops of undiluted essential oil mix. Place in small jars and let cool and harden before placing the lid on.

Soothing Sunburn Ointment
4 oz Aloe Vera Gel (try to get unscented!)
10 drops Lavender oil
5 drops Peppermint oil
3 drops tea tree oil

Mix together thoroughly. Use right after coming in from the sun (works best before the burn starts to hurt!)
            Gypsy Cold Tea
Steep equal parts of Yarrow, Red Clover, and Peppermint in your tea pot until "medium darkness" has been acheived. Serve hot with a little lemon or honey.
   Soothing Insect Bites
10 ml Witch Hazel
6 drops Lavender oil
3 drops Lemon oil
2 drops Eucalyptus oil
1 drop Tea Tree oil

Use drops on a peice of cotton, or in a spray bottle as necessary.
Essential Oil Headache Blend
10 drops Peppermint oil
10 drops Lavender oil
5 Drops Rosemary oil
5 Drops Marjoram oil

Apply a drop or two "neat" (unmixed with a carrier oil)  to the temples and the back of the neck
                        Grandma's Tired Eye Tonic
1 1/2 cup distilled water, 1 chamomile tea bag, 1/2 cup Lavender water 1tsp
witch hazel, 1drop chamomile oil.

Heat the water and steep the tea bag for 10 minutes. Prepare Lavender water , witch hazel and chamomile. Let the Chamomile infusion cool and add to the mixture. Keep refreiderated. Us three times a day on cotton pads for eyestrain.
Stretchmark Prevention Ointment
1/4 cup cocoa butter    7 drops Rose oil
1 tbsp wheat germ oil   6 drops Lavender oil
1tsp apricot kernal oil   5 drops Tangerine oil
1tsp Vit E oil                 10 drops Borage seed oil
2 tsp grated beeswax    5 drops Carrot seed oil
1tsp vanilla

Melt the butter, oils and beeswax  in a double broiler Remove from heat, add vanilla and the essential oils.  This ointment helps to prevent stretchmarks on pregnant bellies, and it smells heavenly! Massage into belly, legs and hips every night before bed.
   Healing Ointment
For cuts scrapes, etc.
16 tsp Aloe vera oil
4 tsp beeswax
25 drops Lavender
25drops Tea Tree oil
Melt oil and wax together in a measuring cup placed in a pan of hot water over med -high heat. Remove from heat and add essential oils.
