The weather was fine, though not totally clear.

| At sunrise, this partial eclipse had already begun. Our observationbase was just east of G�nserndorf, in the northeast of Lower Austria, near the border to Slovakia. The eclipse started at this this latidude at 5 am with a sun-azimut of 55�. The weather was fine, though not totally clear. |
