As the sun arose this morning...
A new and wonderous day reared up bright and strong
No expectations that today would be the day
That I shared my heart with one who knew...
Endless nights and lonely days
Would begin to be expunged
A new enlightenment was unleashed upon my heart
Suddenly free of the oppressiveness
That I have been burdoned with for so long
Able to share my deepest desires and innermost fears
Allowing another to peer into that lake of fire
Which is my troubled soul
Willing to give life to a dying concept
That happiness would forever elude me
For once, speaking aloud that time would not consume me...
Partly or wholly
I am a MAN
I an Human My feelings matter...
As these ideas begin to sink in and take hold
Life as I know it will never again be the same...
It will only be better
