My name is Nyree (meaning "Heart Shaped Flower") and no really... that IS my actual given name. I am 24 years old, and unsure of what I want to do when I grow up. I lived in WI until I was 14, then my parents decided it was too cold and wanted to move to CA for the better climate. (Then we lived in 120 degree weather... but it's a dry heat) Cathedral City, CA was home for me (it's right next to Palm Springs.) I attended Cathedral City High School (Go Lions!! Class of '98 BOOYA!) for 4 years, and graduated within the top 10% of my class. For some reason, I decided to move BACK to WI to attend UWGB (it's gotta be the cheese!!) Then I wanted to change my major & take a year off. Moved in w/my sister in '99, and then started at Dakota County Tech College in '00. So... here I am, 4 years later, living in MN, graduated from school with my AAS in Applied Visual Arts & minor in Photography, my new roommate is my friend GreyHawk, my sister is married and living in 'The Cities', my older brother is in Green Bay & my parents live 40 mins inside the WI border-closer to me & my sister.

In High School, I had a blast. CCHS was one of the greatest experiences of my life. I had a 4.0-GPA my freshman year, and my parents were happy about that. Not much happened between that and my Senior year. My Senior year I became the Manager of the Water Polo team (No, we didn't use horses!)It was so much fun. We went to tournaments, and we won...a few games (record: 2-20...don't laugh) It was an experience, and I'm glad I got involed!

Also during that time, guys had come & go, but my best friends in the world were always there for me: Candace aka:Mara/Wicket/Shorty (did I get all the nicknames?). I'd also like to say 'Hey there!' to all my IRL & Internet friends I've met these past years. And 'I Miss Ya!' to all my friends in the military (expecially the ones that are involed in the war - I pray you all come home safe)

I like to listen to different kinds of music. I love Country music [no thanks to Mara ;)] I also enjoy video game soundtracks like the Final Fantasies. A variety of everything else is cool - except rap, I can't stand it. & GAELIC STORM ROCKS MY WORLD!!!!

And, on top of all that, I�m a Huge Star Wars fanatic! I know I�m a fan, but not as much as other people I know. I'm more proud than anything to own some of this stuff, but I do have a few hard to obtain items.

I own over 75 books, including the SW Encyclopidia. I also have displayed on the walls of my room my prized SW posters: "The Wisdom of Yoda", "Star Wars Rocks", EP1 & 2 preview AND Theatrical posters, & 3-PO Smithsonian. I have my personalized pics of Ray Park & David Prowse, of those 75 books, many of those personally signed by the authors, about 40 action figures, all 9 SW Pez despencers, a Yoda stamper I found at K-Mart, a puter Yoda straight from Disneyland's own "The Star Trader", and the Yoda you got when you had reserved the Special Edition SW set from 'Suncoast Movies' the other year & the 4 Taco Bell posters too.

For a while I was into playing the CCG, now I�m just collecting� I have over 3000 of the cards (mostly originals, some EU cards now too) and an unopened Mara Jade figure. I can�t wait until April and May '05!

Oh yeah, and my claim to fame: a custom air-brushed T-shirt from GenCon '99 and it has been SIGNED by Aaron Allston, Michael Stackpole, Timothy Zahn, Rebekah Moesta, Kevin J. Anderson, & James Luceno.

My favorite SW characters are Mirax Terrik & Corran Horn, Wedge & Iella Antilles, All Rogues & Wraiths, The Solo Family, Luke & Mara, and Jagged Fel.

I currently have 5 costumes finished and ready to wear:
X-wing Pilot, Rogue Style - Black boots, Orange jumpsuit, leg straps, chest box, and helmet.
AOTC Anakin style Jedi - Black boots, tan pants/tunic, black armor/tabards.
Corscantian Jedi - Black boots, black pants, white shirt & blue robe.
Corillian Jedi - Black boots, blue pants, green shirt & blue robe.
Mirax Terrik - Black boots, blue pants, green shirt, black jacket or denim jacket.

I have a silver saber hilt w/a blue or purple blade, and a standard BlastTech DL-44 sidearm.

But of corse, now, I've joined an Organization (which scares my mom) of Star Wars Fanatics. I'm not alone anymore!!! :D The Minnesota Force is a GREAT group of people to hang out with! I really enjoy everyone's company whenever I see them all. We have fun monthly meetings, and some interesting topics of conversations.
