| Gerald Fabian (Fabe) Fraser November 24, 1935 - November 25, 2002 "Our Fabe" Together we gathered, and tried to express The things about Fabe, that we loved the best. So was it his humor, his heart or his hair Or was it the fact that he never despaired? Reflecting on all of the summers gone by We realized how time really did fly For eight years he gave the campers his best And never gave up on the watermelon quest. O the Lord is good to me, He gives me toast and tea... We remember with laughter the way he sang grace It guaranteed an explosion of noise in the place We learned to be thankful for breakfast and dinner But each camper and staff, to him, was a winner. With stories he taught us some lessons for life By example he showed us his love for his wife His life found expression in everyday things, And warmth to our hearts he surely did bring. But maybe the thing we loved best about Fabe Was the way he used words in unusual ways "Jumpin Dirty"..."Good as Gold" A special place in our hearts he will hold.
