Here we go: the fun but kind of lame list of things I think are downright nifty for 032803.

1. Hippie movies, including but not limited to HAIR, Flashback, Woodstock, Butterflies are Free, and the marginal Dazed and Confused.

2. Dorky TV shows:
That 70's Show, Freaks and Geeks and Grounded for Life.  I also like 7th Heaven, much to the dismay of anyone who lives with me.

3.
Dreadlocks.  While I'd love to grow a set of my own, rather than just attaching the synthetic sort to my scalp every so often, I've decided to grow my hair out au natural so I can see what it looks like long (it's been short for a good long while) before I dread it.

4.  Blonde hair.  Black is wonderful for the winter months, but I need a little sunshine in my life these days.  Viva la Color Remover!

5.  Cherry coke.  It's addictive.  I wish it came in caffeine free for us carriers of the species.

6.  Parenting magazines for the non-mainstream sort:
Mothering and  Hip Mama rock my socks.  Furthermore, I want to move into a commune with Ariel Gore, Chelsea Cain and Ayun Halliday.  Just so you know.

7.  The Sims.  Thank you, Mom, for addicting me to yet another pointless pursuit.

8.  Takilma.  If I ever decide to go be hermity, that's where I'm moving.  Or maybe Cave Junction or Half Moon Bay.

9.  Pamela Anderson.  I think she's just downright nifty.  The Baywatch Reunion was one of the funnest things I've seen in ages.  Can I look like her when I grow up (if 21 isn't grown up already)?  Please?

10.  The
Gothic Parents group at livejournal.  You guys are the best.  No, really.
