Deck of Cards

The suits of an ordinary playing card deck mirror the Medieval Society.

Also, the number of the cards and divisions mirror the year.

Indicator- a face card representing the seeker, woman are represented by the Queens, man by the Kings, young people by the Jacks. Choose traits that best fit the seeker's sense of self, place the indicator back in the deck. If the indicator appears in the reading it means that the seeker has complete control over the issue.

Face Cards: Of the same suit indicate a close relationship. Opposite suit is a negative affinty. Clubs oppose Spades, Hearts oppose Diamonds. The Direction the card is facing give clues to how to handle the sitation (i.e. if face card is facing another card like the 6 of clubs).

Chakra Spread: Represents the seven chakras. Seven cards form a colomn, starting at the bottom being number 1.

  1. Root Chakra: grounding and self preservation
  2. Hara Chakra: persons sexuality, desire, sensual parts.
  3. Solar Plexas: collective will, sensel of personal power, energy.
  4. Heart Chakra: Love, compassion, intregrator between the lower and upper chakras of the mind and spirit.
  5. Throat chakra: creativity, communication.
  6. Third eye chakra: Intuition, dream world, imaginative life.
  7. Crown chakra: state of enlightenment and wisdom.
