The Sherry Baby is an incredibly popular plant. The reason being, it's wonderful chocolate fragrance when in bloom. It is an Oncidium, therefore needing a bit more water than most orchids. It is fairly easy to grow for a novice gardener.
Library books are available at each meeting. They can be borrowed monthly by members only and must be signed out with the librarian and must be returned at the next meeting.
We have a silent auction in which members may sell and buy plants, fertilizers, pots, etc. You can also buy raffle tickets for our raffle table which has an array of different orchids, that are donated by our speaker of the month.
Our club also has a July picnic for members, all members participate by bringing a dish and the Club provides drinks
and barbecue.
ANNUAL AUCTION
for our club is in OCTOBER
this would be instead or our meeting, so plan to be there for the first thursday of the month. The club provides refreshments.
