A person; not a lover or a relative
With when you have a mutual bond
To love and support through time and beyond.
You give thema ll of your loyalty
And even treat them as if royalty
For, when you have finally found a true friend
The love and trust will never end
You will be able to discuss anything
Knowing it won't be passed 'round the ring
Everything should be reciprocated
No matter how simple or complicated
All of your feelings and your emotions
Will be able to be fully showing
And so I leave you with this thought in my mind,
Of the magic of friendship that transcends all time.
But, please in the end, don't get me all wrong
For friends can go on to be lovers so strong
And love that starts in this way, you'll see
will endure for all of eternity.
