| Day and Night | ||||
| Up there by the mountain peak, the sun comes down to fall asleep. The blue sky above becomes dull and meek, and the gushing wind begins to creep. Orange, blue, and red begins to fade, Soon, only the colors black and gray will have stayed. Day and night has made their trade, and now the stars began to start their raid. As I stood there by the mountain peak, the silver moon began to peep, all the stars began to leap, and I playfully muttered out to them, "You thieves, the nights is yours, but not the day!" "Oh, so soon today will be gone, but tomorrow will not take so long." |
