| Disclaimer: Dont own DBZ or these songs *** On with this so I can start DBZ: THE OTHER DIMENSION THE SCHOOL/HISTORY ASSIGNMENT/DRIVING TEST FROM MIRAI HELL CHAPTER 4 And exams are FINSIHED! Trunks exclaimed, stepping out of his science class. Annie followed him wearing a light green jacket and mittens. The sky was gray and maybe it would begin snowing again. Annie opened the passenger door to Trunks new Capsule Corp car. He had finally gotten his license and Bulma had been happy about that. It was nice of your mom and you to invite me over for dinner tonight, Annie said, putting on her seatbelt -just in case. No problem, Trunks replied, pushing the car into drive and pulling out of the parking lot. When they arrived Bulma made them both welcome and they talked about grades, the holiday season, and what gifts they would buy which friends as they decorated for Christmas. Dinner will be ready in fifteen minutes! Bulma called from the kitchen. Alright, mom! Smells good! Annie remarked. Trunks looked outside the window and his eyes widened. Ah! Its snowing again! Im going outside! Trunks grabbed his jacket. Cmon! Annie laughed and put her jacket back on. Im comin. Trunks disappeared out the door and Annie followed a few seconds later. Trunks? Annie looked around. Trunks where are you? Annie heard a AH! And then felt his arms wrap around her waist. TRUNKS! She screamed, hitting him in the arm. Lemme She pushed against him. GO! Trunks fell over and Annie followed. Annie quickly stood up and formed a snowball, hurling it at Trunks who was defenseless on the ground. Trunks got up, snow plastered on his face and back. That wasnt cool, he stated. Most of his hair had come loose from the ponytail that held it back and was hanging in his face. His cheeks were redder than usual with the cold and his eyes seemed to be a more brilliant blue than ever. Trunks moved towards Annie and pulled her to him. Its beautiful out tonight, huh? Annie nodded. Trunks smiled at her and wrapped one arm around her waist and held her hand with the other. Dance with me, Annie? He asked softly. Under the stars, with the light snow falling Annie laughed. darn. No music, Trunks noticed. Well, what are you going to do about that Trunks Brief? I can sing! He said defensively. Oh? You can, can you? Trunks nodded. Let me think of a nice song like an old one Annie watched with a smile as his face took on a look of concentration. I thought of a songit goes he hummed a little as he and Annie started dancing. Slow dancin Swayin to the music Slow dancin Just me and my girl Annie smiled. Slow dancin Swayin to the music No one else in the whole wide world No one else that was except Bulma who was watching them from the window of her living room. Trunks held Annie away from him and looked into her eyes. Just you girl, he sang. Annie laughed and clapped her hands. Bravo! You have a nice voice... Trunks joined in her laughter and looked at the ground. Know any others? Yeah. Like? Wellum he began humming again. Its strange how you light up my heart without saying a word. I cant explain it The smile on your face lets me know when you need me Theres a truth in your eyes sayin youll never leave me The touch of your hand says youll catch me whenever I fall You say this when you say nothing at all Trunks held Annies hands. How do you know these songs? She asked. Trunks shrugged. My mom listens to these kinds of songs on the radio sometimes. I think it reminds her of my father. Annie nodded, but continued to keep her eyes on Trunks. Maybe we should go inside now dinners almost ready. Im sure your mom- My momll be fine. But I dont want to be a burden. Ill go help her setses Annie stopped under Trunks stare. What Trunks? She whispered, squeezing his hands. Trunks gew serious and stepped closer, bending his head forward. His hair brushed her face and she shut her eyes, enjoying the contact. Before she opened them she felt his lips brush with hers. It was over before she really knew it happened. Trunks let go of her hands and stepped away, unsure of what he had just done. Annie looked at him with curiosity on her face. Trunks why did you do that? Not having an answer Trunks remained still. Annie smiled and walked up to him, rising on her toes, throwing her arms around his neck and kissed him. Trunks lightly kissed her back and gently brushed some of her hair away from her face. Trunks didnt deepen the kiss or wrap his arms around her passionately. He just reveled in the warmth of the moment. After all, he wasnt sixteen anymore and had learned not to get too caught up in the moment. He broke the kiss delicately. Youre right, lets go inside. Still holding her hand, Trunks led her to the warmth of the house. Annie followed silently but smiled to herself. She looked up at the sky and sighed. Whatever reasons that Saiyans had come here for, she thought, to destroy the Earth or save itIm glad that they did. Inside, Bulma wiped her cheeks and eyes with the sleeve of her shirt. She watched the two make their way toward the house and ran into the kitchen, not wanting to be caught spying. "What's up you two?"Bulma asked. "Nothing much mom," Trunks replied, letting go of Annie's hand and hanging his jacket up. "Dinner will be ready in a minute," Bulma remarked. "Okay," Annie answered. "We'll just finish hanging up the garland." Bulma nodded and turned back to her cooking and Annie sighed, hanging garland around a picture. She was surprised when a piece of garland looped around her and she found herself being pulled towards Trunks. "Trunks!" She scolded. "Get this off of me! Let...me....GO!" Trunks shrugged his shoulders. "I'm afraid I can't do that," he replied, close enough to kiss her. "And why not?" "Don't feel like it." They both laughed and kissed again, as Bulma watched the whole thing, smirking. *** THANK KAMI! If you want to continue on with the romance or diary idea you can... just email me! |
