THE SCHOOL/HISTORY ASSIGNMENT/DRIVING TEST FROM MIRAI HELL
CHAPTER 2

Trunks sighed and walked over to Annie. Hi! He said, shifting the weight of his backpack on his shoulder. Annie looked up and stared at him through her sunglasses. He wore his straight, light purple hair down, and was dressed simply in jeans and a khaki colored T-shirt. His arms were muscular but not incredibly bulky and Annie had to admit that he had a nice body, that was for sure. But overlooking all that, the one thing that caught her the most was his eyes. They were the brightest, clearest blue eyes she had ever seen, however something in them was dark and sad. But intriguingly enough, there was a sliver of hope that shined through.
Annie nodded at him. Hey! She exclaimed. Lets get started!

At their table sat a stack of at least fifty economics books that Trunks had found. Annie hadnt found what she was really looking for...the inside school on the androids.
So did you find anything yet, Trunks?
Trunks dropped his pencil and flipped a page of the book in front of him. Yeah.
Well, I havent soooo um"
Damn it! Why did this guy have to be so hard to talk to? Annie slammed the book she was reading shut. Fudge. Im never going to find what I want.
Trunks eyed her oddly. Fudge? He asked.
What? Why are you looking at me like that?
Trunks shrugged. Sounded funny.
Leave me alone! Annie said jokingly. She stood up and stretched. All of the books on the androids say the same thing. Why cant I find anything revealing?
Trunks glanced at her and frowned if only she knew.
Be right back, she stated, walking back towards the reference section. Im going to see if I can find anything else!
Splendid! Trunks exclaimed sarcastically to himself under his breath.
Annie turned around and laughed. I havent heard that word in a long time! She said before walking off.
Trunks in spite of himself, smiled. He pushed some of the hair that had become loose out of his face and began to concentrate on his book. caused the rates of major companies to drop from normal production to Trunks stopped reading when he realized he was still smiling. He immediately stopped and began writing.

Do you have anything else on the androids? Anything at all? Annie asked one of the librarians.
The only thing we have are the books under reference. Sorry.
Annie nodded and walked back to the reference section. She grabbed a little ladder and climbed to the top shelf. Android Thesis; Human or Machine; Mind of their Own; no title; On the Workings of Mechanized- wait! Annie pulled out the book without a title. She sat on the ladder and opened it.
The little book was actually a journal of some sort. Its pages were torn and fragile, and it looked as if it had been exposed to the elements. She squinted at the page, trying to make out the faded writing. ........M...........................ks is the only one left.....possibly teach to fight andyan. I am unsu....best for us bu......last and only chan.. Annie frowned. What?
She tried to put the pieces together in her head. Someone was the only one left who could what? Learn to fight and something else too. Yan? What was that? I am what? U- n- s- u- what? Unsure? Best for who? But what? Last and only what? Chance? Why was this in the android section of the library?
She looked at the front carefully and noticed on the bottom right of the book there was a symbol. She couldnt make it out because part of it was torn off but the symbol was in a circle. She tried to read it. So- Son- Son Go- what? This is strange She looked around and checked for cameras that might be monitoring the area. When she didnt see any she slipped the old book in her bag and walked back to the table.

Trunks stopped reading and rubbed his eyes. Splendid, he said again out loud making a face. Splendid, splendid, splendid He stopped and allowed his head to drop and bang into the book in front of him. Why had he agreed to come here? Wait wasnt this his idea so he could keep an eye on that girl Annie?
Why do I do this to myself? Well, you moron, he thought to himself, One because you are suspicious of someone so openly enthusiastic about the androids. Two, you would have had to come here to research anyway. And three because, lets face it, you wanted to hang out with Annie and- WHERE THE HELL DID THAT COME FROM!? Damn it mom!!!!!! Trunks' thoughts continued.
Trunks?
He didnt respond.
Heyah Trunks?
Nothin'.
TRUNKS?
Trunks snapped to reality.
Annies eyebrows knitted together.  What were you thinkin about there? You seemed pretty absorbed in whatever it was.
You, Trunks thought. He hit himself on the head.
Annie jumped back. Donthit yourselfTrunks
Trunks looked up and forced himself to clear his mind.
Find anything? Trunks asked.
No guess Ill just have to work with what I have here! Why dont we go check some books out! I have my card.
Okaythese are the ones I want.
Gotcha. Annie picked up an armload of books and waited in line. Trunks packed away his stuff and joined her.
Need a hand?
Annie smiled. Yeah, that would be nice. She dumped half the books into his arms. Thanks!
Trunks smiled.
Hes acting strange hes actually talking! Annie mused. I thought that was something he couldnt do.
What do you want? The man asked when they got to the head of the line. Trunks looked at the sign that said Book Checkout. What the hell do you think we want? Trunks thought. We want to check out books you-
Young man. Young man, The clerk said. Annie leaned into Trunks and nudged him. Put the damn books down!
Trunks quickly did so. Sorry.
Stop spacing out on me, Annie whispered.
What? Trunks mouthed. If there was one thing she had learned about Trunks, it was that most of the time he was in his own little world. He definitely didnt seem like the outgoing type to her. She grabbed her half of the books and wlked out of the library. Bye, Trunks!
Bye!
Annie turned away and smiled. Wow, she thought. I actually had a conversation with him that lasted longer than five seconds AND I got him to say bye!
***
I dunno... I'm in a rush to finish this big time because I have the best idea that is going to require all my attention! Most DBZ characters are in it and as far as I can see it has no end! HAHAHAHAHA!
