Starry Night

Bura ran from the car, jogging down the hillside to the water, I could hear her sandals squishing in the soft warm sand. I stepped out of the car, walking around to the trunk of it, heading to get the cooler, when I bumped into Torankusu. �Oh! Kami-sama! Gomen�gomen-nasai Torankusu. I didn�t know you were there!� My heart was pounding, it felt like I had been sparing for hours. He looked at me and laughed softly.
�Heh, iie, iie�it�s alright. It was my fault anyways. I bumped into you.� We stood there for a moment, just staring at each other. He was obviously nervous, I noticed he would scratch the back of his head when he was embarrassed, and he was definitely scratching! I broke the silene. �So�uh, is the trunk locked, or can I just grab the cooler.� He had a dumbfounded expression on his face.
�Oh�uh, no, it�s alright. Heh-eh�I can get it.�
I smiled and nodded. I decided to go find Bura, knowing she was probably picking on Goten again, I thought he might want someone to stick up for him this time. So, I headed down the beach, sand soaking between my toes, and met up with Bura and Goten.
�Hey B-chan, hey uncle Goten!�
�Konichiwa Paansu!�
�Hi Panny!�
�What are you two up to? Hm?� I looked at them both, laying against each other, staring at the ocean water.
�Oh nothing Panny, just watching the sunset, want to join?� Bura offered. I nodded and cuddled up with the two on the beach. It was getting cold, the sun was falling, I needed to keep myself warm somehow. Suddenly, Trunks finally appeared.
�Excuse me, if it isn�t much of a -bother-, Goten, I�d like a little help picking up all the stuff. Before anyone could answer I sprung to my feet and offered my assistance. �I�ll help!� Everyone looked at me, Toran was staring blankly. My face began to blush immensely. �I enjoy helping out. It�s no bother, and plus, I don�t want either one of you to miss out on the sunset.�
I smiled stupidly. Trunks was looking at me and he suddenly began to turn red as well.
�Iie! Paansu, you don�t need to, Goten was suppose to help me anyways. The big lazy baka��
�It�s alright, I�d love to.�
�Well, alright�just�be careful with everything��
�Oh, what am I going to do? Break a rock?� He smirked at this remark and we headed back to the picnic area. I was going around and picking up all the loose wrappers and garbage when Trunks asked me for some help. I walked over to him. �What can I do?�
�Here, garb the other end of this, will you?�
I nodded and walked over to the other side of the cooler. Picking it up, I thought it felt rather light, which made me wonder why he asked me for help. When he walked to the back of the car and placed the cooler down, I fell forwards, only to find myself in the tight, supportive grasp of Trunks. I began to blush once again.
�You okay Panny-chan?� he asked.
I nodded. �Hai, I�m alright�� mumbling under my breath� �now that you�ve caught me��
�What was that?�
I was shocked� �Could he have heard me?!� I thought to myself.
�Heh-eh, Paansu, look at me�� he lifted me to a standing position, then softly placed a finger under my chin and lifted my face to look him in the eyes. �Pan�I have to tell you something��
I could feel the water building up and moistening my eyes. My heart beat faster than ever before. My cheeks turned a flush red and my palms began to sweat. I interrupted him. �My dream�it�s come true�I can�t believe it�miracles do exist!� I draped myself around him. I felt safe and secure in his arms. And his arms, oh�they were so strong and gentle at the same time. He brought a hand to my head and brushed my hair out of my face.
�Pan�wha-what are you talking about? Your dream�I was just going to tell you that you have a twig in your hair.�
Suddenly I felt like dying, my, once shut tight eyes sprung open and I let go of him immediately. He leaned to one side and plucked the twig from my hair. I felt so dumb. I swear, I could of died right then and there.
�I-I�m sorry�I thought�oh, never mind, it doesn�t matter what I thought. Because I was obviously wrong.� Suddenly I felt a quick lash of warmth on my lips, and a familiar touch at my sides. Trunks had kissed me, and he was still kissing me! I have to admit, it was a surprise to me at first, but then after he had slide his tongue in my mouth I relaxed and sent my tongue searching through his mouth as well. He broke the kiss.
