| Seripa is introduced into the story when Freezer tells Gokou about the death of the Saiya-jin, including his father Bardock. However, not much is said about her. Then there's the Bardock TV Special in which she appears more frequently. She is one of the few female Saiya-jin in the Special, and I believe the only one to be given an actual name by Toriyama. She asks Bardock if he's planning to go see his son, who was just born, but Bardock only states that he doesn't want to see his son since he was born so weak. Seripa is surprised, therefore indicating she isn't heartless like the stereotypical Saiya-jin. Rumors have gone around the Internet that she is Gokou's mother, but that is untrue. When Gokou--Kakarotto was just born, she was right beside Bardock, far away from the infant Saiya-jin. She was there when Bardock recieved his ability to see the future, but I am unsure of whether or not he told her about it since I've yet to see the Special and have only read summaries of it. She was there whenever King Vejita and Bardock attacked Freezer's ship and was sadly killed by Dodoria. Back |
