| Maron is one of the many minor Dargonball characters to appear only in the anime. However, other than the new characters from GT she probably has the most significance of an anime only character, not only appearing in the filler Garlic Jr. Saga, but also in the anime version of the Android Saga while Kuririn is out 'fighting'. She is introduced into the story as Kuririn's girlfriend. She is very pretty, but unfortunately very flakey, flirty and open about her feelings. She continually annoys Buruma and Chichi by calling them old ladies. Kuririn leaves her when he believes she's too good for him and would never marry him. After he breaks the news to her she tells him she would have married him, but before he can get her back she accepts a ride from another man and leaves the beach. She reappears in the Android Saga, going to the Kame House in search of Kuririn saying he's the only man she's ever loved. After being groped and oogled, plus finding out Kuririn isn't there, she calls a legion of former boyfriends to pick her up. Muten Roshi and Umigame never tell Kuririn she showed up, thinking he couldn't handle it. It's never known what happens to her after that. A lot of people disliked Maron, since she was so ditzy, especially girls, but I think she's funny and even a little cute. Sure, she has nothing on Juuhachigou or the true blue Marron, but she's not as bad as everyone portrays her. Back |
