| Name: Jinzonigen Juuhachigou Name alternatives: Juhachigou, Android #18, Cyborg #18 Name pun: Man-made human number 18 First appearance: Manga volume 29, act 12, Dragonball Z ep. 133 (And the Fear Became Reality...Juunanagou and Juhachigou Awaken!) Appears in: Dragonball Z, Dragonball GT Hair: Flaxen Blonde Eyes: Sky Blue Race: Enhanced Human (Cyborg) Ki abilities: She posesses no real ki, but rather a false ki that's somewhat like a re-chargeable battery. However, the strength of this false ki is greater than SSJ Gokou's real ki. Seiyuu: Miki Itou American VA(s): Meredith McCoy (same as Lunch!) Number of Hairstyles: 2 Deaths: 2 (Is killed by Trunks in the Shadow Future, is killed by Super #17 in DBGT) Personality: Cool, confident and straight forward. She knows how to achieve her goals, wasting much less time on the aspects of fun like her brother, Juunanagou. She's actually a very kind person, but has trouble not only showing it, but being reached as well. She doesn't trust the kindness of others if she believes it was uncalled for. She isn't interested in being world-renown, or even well-known. She's perfectly happy with living in the Kame House (she had a chance to beat Mr. Satan in the Budokai and didn't take it). Her love for Kuririn and Marron is the most emotion she shows throughout the series, perhaps making her the most enigmatic female from Dragonball. |

Love Life: Juuhachigou's love life is what saves her from being the cruel killing machine she was in the shadow future of Mirai no Trunks. It all began when 18, 17 and 16 were facing the Z warriors. Juuhachigou demolished Vejita during their battle, and the others dropped like flies at the hands of her and her brother. The only two not partaking in the fight were Juurokugou and Kuririn. Before the jinzonigen left to find Son Gokou, 18 gave Kuririn a kiss on the cheek. Now, naturally, Kuririn couldn't stop thinking of her. When he recieved the remote control that would allow him to disable 18 and destroy her before Cell was able to absorb her, he couldn't do it. Instead he crushed the controller and tried to fight Cell for her. Alas, his efforts were futile and she was absorbed. However, when Gohan fought Perfect Cell in his SSJ2 form, he punched Cell hard enough to cause him to reject 18 and spit her back into the arms of Kuririn (all the best love stories are that way). He brought her to Kami-sama's home and she was revived by Dende. Instead of thanking Kuririn, she made fun of him and left. However, when the dragon was summoned she hid where no one could see her and watched the strange display. She was finally touched by his kindness when he wished for the bombs implanted in her and her brother to be removed (after a failed wish to make them human once again). She yells at him for thinking that 17 is her boyfriend, informing him that he's her brother, and flies away. But not before saying "See you later." In the Buu Saga, 7 years later, the two are married and have a daughter Marron, and are obviously in love. Importance: Juuhachigou may not play a large role in the Buu Saga, but she is one of 4 main enemies in the Cell Saga and one of the 2 main enemies in Mirai no Trunks' world. Without her and Juunanagou, Trunks would never have traveled back into the past, saved Son Gokou and made it possible for Cell to die, therefore ensuring her own life in the past. Her daughter never plays any big role in the series. Her importance as Kuririn's wife is significant, however, since Kuririn is Gokou's best friend for the entire manga and one of the few non-Saiya-jin characters to still recieve plenty of camera time during a fight. In GT, Juuhachigou plays a significant role in the destruction of Super #17, her last major fight in the series. Onto Gallery |
