Selphie is a light-hearted girl who transfered to Balamb from Trabia Garden, because Balamb Garden is the only place where you can take the tests to become a SeeD.
Selphie is current Prez of the Garden Party commitee and is always running around trying to get people to join. She's really easygoing, warm, and light-heated. So she seems very out of place at a military academy. She's also sensitve and a little clutzy sometimes. But don't get her near bombs and explosives, she loves them....and has this weird obsession with blowing things up when she gets the chance.
Selphie is very attached to her Trabia Garden and you see just how much when it is targeted and blown up by Edea's forces. (Of course, Irvine tries to comfort her in great Irvine-tradition.)
If anything, Selphie's really cheerful and happy and likes trains....and blowing things up. ^___^
She's also one of the war orphans that lived with Squall at Edea's house.....and her best friend there was Irvine (who she called Irvy)...and after she remembers everything about that time, they assumedly become even closer.
Selphie fights with Nunchakus and her Limit Breaks are fairly cool. It's called Slot. and she can do any spell up to about three time....you can either pick Do Over, to pick a different spell..or Cast to cast it. The best three are probably Full-Cure, which, obviously fully cures the entire party....great for last minute life savers...and the other two are Rapture and The End. These two will completely destroy most enemies....(if i'm thinking right anyway...).
