| Raine is the wife of Laguna, mother of Squall and step-mother to Ellone. Raine took Ellone in when her parents died. She met Laguna when she found him after he was in an accident and she nursed him back to health in the small town of Winhill. When they got married, they had one son, Squall, but then Laguna had to leave for awhile. But while he was gone, Raine got very sick, and tragically, she died and her children were taken to an orphanage. |
