Quitis Trepe is actually one of Squall's teachers. She is sort of a child prodigy, as she's only 18...only a year older then most of her students. She became a SeeD at the age of 15. She is also one of the children that was at Edea's orphanage with Squall. When she was adopted, however, things didn't go well with her family, so she went to live at Balamb Garden, and met up with Seifer and Squall again. She wanted to become a kind of "big sister" to Squall, because after Ellone left, Squall always felt that he was alone. But Quistis couldn't take Ellone's place, so she just worked to come to know Squall better and try and stop him from fighting with Seifer all the time (which most of the time didn't work out anyway, the two boys would usually end up fighting anyway)....and over time....developed a bit of a "crush" on him.
Quitis has actually got quite a following of her own. At the school of Balamb she's got groupies that "stalk" her, they're actually more of a fan club, and they call themselves the Treppies (heh, any Trekkies in te audience =).
Quitis is probably the most serious of the crew, next to Squall. She gets very intent upon missions, she's good with weaponry, and sometimes can get kind of mean. She fights with a whip and, in my opinion, has the best Limit Breaks, next to Squall. She basically uses "Blue Magic". You use particular items and she learns new techniques. I always like her "Homing Beam" the best. |
