Cid Highwind is a tough talking, warm hearted pilot who's one dream is to go into space. He's a wonderful pilot, in air or on the sea, and his knowledge of machine is very useful at particular points in the game. (For those of you who have played FF-8, I have suspsions that this man is related to Zell..haha...=) Cid, though his birthplace is unknown, was born on February 22 and he's 32 years old. He favors a spear for a weapon and stands around 5 foot 8 inches. And if need be, he could have a blood transfusion with Tifa, they have the same blood type, B.
Cid is probably the funniest character in the game, he constantly swearing and joking and smoking, too. He also has the ongoing name of Cid, anyone who is a fan of the Final Fantasy series, knows that the names Cid, Biggs, and Wedge are constant, there's someone with those names in every Final Fantasy game (and there's probably other stuff too....but i don't remember it all=), and Mr. Highwind is our man in this one.
Cid almost went into space once.....however, he aborted his mission at the last second to save the life of one of his crew and he's been rather bitter with that particular crew member ever since.
Cid's a great front line fighter, and I'm not here to tell you how to stock him up materia-wise, stock everyone up how it suits you! But keep Cid in front.
