Definitions of Beauty Descriptions
- Handsome
- Classic, Masculine. The word brings up the leading men of old black and white movies, or the attractive middle aged or older actors like Harrison Ford. Even when used it to discribe a woman it's used for women of a less feminine attractiveness.
- Beautiful
- Classic, Femanine. Female version of Handsome. It brings to mind the Queens of the silver screen; women like Marylin Monroe or Elizabeth Taylor.
- Pretty
- Refers to an attractivness thats more befitting of the girl next door. Kate Hudson Or Reese Witherspoon when they were younger would be a good example. Often implies an innocent quality.
- Cute
- Generally used for young children. This term is asexual, as it's used for either side of the fence without implying any masculine or feminine traits. When used for adults, It seems to be more like assure the person every thing is in place and proportional, but not attractive enough to fall into the 'pretty' or 'beautiful' category.
- Sexy
- Sexy refers more to the attractiveness of some ones body, rather then face or the person as a whole. Sexy doesnt imply an attractive face persay, but that the individual being described has a shapely body.
- Gorgeous
- This term describes a person that fits into exactly what the beholder finds attractive in every aspect. Handsome & sexy, or beautiful & sexy.
