Hi, my name is Lucie Ann. I am only 13-years-old. I live with my mom. Mom and dad got a devorce when i was 5, but i stll rember him. I have a sister Kristy who live's with my dad. We get along really well. One day she came over to my house and asked me if i wanted to come out side and play with her and her new black Lab dog Buddy!. At that time I was extreamly happy. About 2 hours passed of Kristy, Buddy and I playing outside. Then we heard dad scream her name. To know my sister had to go home but not with me made me get all choked up inside. Then Kristy said I love you and Left with Buddy walking along beside her.

Well the next morning as i woke up from my sleep mom had said we are going to grandmas house for a while. She was not good at all. She was on a breathing machine. Well as i walked into grandmas house she said Lucie baby. and very slowly walked up to me to give me a hug. "You look just like your mom when she was your age", grandma said really excited to see me. Mom stood behind me laughing. Really i didn't think it was all that funny. I didn't want to sound rude so i said thank you. Later on that day, two hours passed and me and mom were on our way home. As mom walked into the front door the phone rang. I then stood really still as mama went to answer it. "Hello", she said. "Hi I'm Dr.John and i hate to tell you this..." "What tell me please is there something wrong"? mom said really scared. When i heard her ask that my heart skipped two beets to fast. "Well yes ma'am there is a problem". Then the doctor was really quite and nothing was said and out of no where "TELL ME". mom yelled really loud and mad. "I'm sorry ma'am your husband was killed in a car reck, and the car caught on fire leaving your daughter a bad 5 degree burn on her body in many areas". the doctor replied back. "Oh my God" mom said "My baby is ok right"? Then she hung up the phone with her head down. As i stared at my mother i noticed how her tear drop fell like a beautiful water fall during the summer. Then i knew that something bad has happen. Mom had then said I'm sorry Lucie and hugged me really tight. Even though i didn't know what had happen i still hugged back.then she told me and i seemed like my whole life was gone like it had end.

When mom stopped hugging me she had really fast grabbed her car keys."Get in the car NOW", she said really madly and sadly. Then we went to the hospital! As we arived at the hospital i started to cry. My grandmother was in the waiting room,Calmly, but waiting,, waiting for information on how my sister would be. Grandma knew everything before we knew anything because dad had her on the list in case anything happed, which they would have called her first because we were listed second. Well just about 30 minutes had passed and the doctor called us to a back room. As we walked into the back room there lay my sister with all kinds of cords on and in her. The badly burn on her body made it look as if i didn't know her no more.Then grandma made us all join hands and all pray for her. When we were done praying we all said Aman. All of a sudden we heard a small, soft, sweet voice say Lucie. And there was my sister looking up at all of us.
