Life is full of surprises

 There’s a lot in store

For we only have one mother

One I adore.

You give me lots

And help me out

Step in when things go wrong

Oh mother dear I have to cheer

I’m so happy I could sing you a song.

There is only one on this earth

And you deserve first prize

You brought me up and gave me love

And held me when I cried.

So now it’s your turn dear

This is just to say

I’ll always love you mother

My love grows more each day.
