Tavastia 2002/2003

      O Tavastia estava completamente cheio para assistir ao primeiro concerto dos
HIM em 2003.
     Ville Valo e companhia entraram em palco poucos minutos depois da meia-noite local (+2 horas que em Portugal). E não podia ter começado da melhor maneira, um tema novo, Buried Alive By Love foi bastante aplaudido pelo
público presente. Seguiram-se temas dos 3 albuns já editados pela banda, Heartache Every Moment, Your Sweet 666 e Poison Girl.
     Valo encontrava-se bastante bem disposto, comunicando em finlandês com o público e metendo-se com alguns elementos da banda, o mais visado foi G. Lipstick.
     Depois na minha opinião o momento mais alto da noite, Funeral of Hearts! Uma nova balada que pôs as fãs mais histéricas do que já estavam... :) E lá voou um soutien, ou umas cuecas, para o palco, que Valo não rejeitou oferecendo ao G. Lipstick, que colocou na bateria. Cenas já habituais nos concertos dos HIM...
     Seguiu-se mais uma mistura dos 3 albuns: It`s All Tears, In Joy And Sorrow e Razorblade Kiss, seguido de outro momento alto, Join Me In Death. Mais uma bebida e um cigarro e Sweet Pandemonium veio mostrar que Love Metal
será um álbum com certeza mais rock/metal que Deep Shadows. Seguiram-se um grande hit da banda, Right Here In My Arms e Pretending fez com que os HIM abandonassem pela primeira vez o palco.
     Depois da habitual manifestação do público, o regresso para um encore de 3 temas: Bury Me Deep, Soul On Fire (tema novo, mais uma vez, de grande agrado do pessoal) e a fechar como não podia faltar a versão de Wicked Game de Cris
Isaak.
     Uma nota, os HIM também tocaram Our Diabolikal Rapture que não sei porque não está na lista de temas do concerto.
     Um Excelente espectáculo dado pela melhor banda do Planeta! Os HIM estão de regresso!!!

HIM's gig in Sofia (07.07.2002).

     This was the day I had been waiting for since I heard HIM. The concert was on 07. July. 2002 and it was the first HIM gig I had ever been to. I was in front of the hall at about 15 pm, because before that was the press conference and I
had Pass for it. I was waiting in front of the hall anxiously. There were lots of HIM fans, but I didn’t care much about them. I could hear HIM 's sound check inside, because the guitars, the drums and the keyboard from Heartache Every
Moment were extremely loud. The only missing thing was Ville's voice, because, I guess, he wasn't inside. And while waiting something amazing happened. It just started to rain from nowhere. There were even tunders and then, there was sun, shining so bright, that it hurt…
     At 19:00 the doors opened. It was a rush to go first, to find a better place... I was one of the first to enter and I managed to get a wonderful place, right in front Mige. It was said that HIM would appear at 22:00 and before them there
were some other Bulgarian bands. God, I hated them! Not because they were bad or something, but because I was dying to see HIM... HIM on stage for the first time... And the moment was coming closer and closer... I was totally smashed by the crowd, but this didn't matter much. And... right at 22 Ville, Mige, Gas, Burton and Linde were there. Everyone in the hall was so excited, everyone was screaming. And I had that butterflies in my stomach… The gig started with Stigmata Diaboli and HIM totally rocked the place... Ville was so close that I could see everything perfectly. My heart was beating so fast... At one moment I thought I would just faint and miss everything. I was a dream. I wasn’t sure if
this was true or it was just a very real dream. It was like being in heaven, but in the same time the excitement was burning me inside. I wanted to save every single tone, every single movement, every single word in my mind forever. The
gig was about 2 hours and HIM performed my favorite songs. During Join Me Ville didn't need to sing at all, because the audince was screaming out loud the lyrics and he was just smiling and walking around. Then they just left. But I
knew this wouldn't be the end - they still hadn't played Gone With The Sin... And I was right.. In about 5 mins they came back with Gone With The Sin! When the song was about to finish I felt very strange - I was happy because the "Meet and Greet" (I had pass) was after the concert, but I felt sad losing the great moments... The gig was about the finish and I was about to burn a wish. But HIM didn't leave as. They played the Black Sabbath cover they had been playing in their 2002 tour. Words are not enough to describe the feeling... After that they left.
          A dream came true.
