Ouvi dizer que alguns nomes das músicas do novo album vão ser: "Rescue", "Redemption", "Sullen" "Pandemon" e algo parecido com "Sacrament". É importante sublinhar que são apenas rumores, nada confirmado.

- Novo nome para os HIM nos EUA

Também ouvi romores que o nome iria ser novamente mudado, e segundo a page The-Heartless Jimmy Pop, dos Bloodhound Gang, afirma que sempre vão utilizar outro nome, mas qual?!

No kaista também podemos verificar a notícia que os 'HIM' dos EUA "ofereceram" o nome HIM aos nossos HIM (lol) por uma quantica de dinheiro, que ao que parece bem gordinha! Seppo diz que está fora de questão.

Nesta altura o Ville e Migé já devem tar em Los Angeles, onde vão passar ás misturas das músicas do novo album "Love Metal"

- HIM assinam contracto com Universal

Após varias negociações os HIM assinaram contracto com Universal Records, para editarem uma versão oficial do RR na América.

Rumores que ai andam dizem que numa revista finlandesa (não a vi) que lilly vai ser pai em breve. A mão ao que se sabe é uma prostituta... Agora se é verdade ou não, não sei.

Bam Margera vai dirigir o novo HIM vídeo, do novo Cd, que vai ser filmado em Hollywood dias 14/19 de Dezembro... No vídeo vai aparecer a actriz Juliette Lewis.

NEW HIM VIDEOS
We're planning to shoot two new videos in December / January for the forthcoming album.

The first one will be shot December 15-18 in Los Angeles with Bam Margera directing. It will be mostly a performance video shot in an old theatre or church, but there will also be a storyline along with the performance. Juliette Lewis is set to be the female person in the story.

The second video will be done in the beginning of January in Finnish Lapland. Stefan Lindfors is directing and there will be lots of surprises, wild horses and savage Lappish wolves in the fairy-tale story.

One of these videos can be expected to start showing towards mid-February.

HIM IN THE U.S.
After a long wait we finally got a confirmation from Universal Records that they will sign the band in the U.S. and the first nationwide release is preliminarily planned for February.

We're also working on the merchandising to make it available in North America and especially to get the pirates out of the market. The worst ones seems to be www.heartagrambelts.com, who are ripping everyone off with their lousy designs and claiming that they have rights to Ville's heartagram logo.

Ville, Migé and the recording sessions engineer Hiili spent a few days at London's Sphere Studios mixing two tracks for the fourthcoming album with the English, LA-based producer Tim Palmer. The songs sound fantastic and the album mix will start with Palmer in Los Angeles December 2nd. Tim Palmer has produced among many other things Ozzy's album Down to Earth and the current single Dreamer/Gets me Through. He was also nominated for Grammies for his mix of U2's album All You Can't Leave Behind.

The album should be finished by the end of the year and the release is tentatively now set for April followed by a Festival tour in the summer of 2003. There will be no touring before June, but a full-scale European tour is planned for the autumn 2003.

- That's not true. 'Love Metal' doesn't remind any of our records.It's pretty new kind of HIM...

Are you going to tour right after record releasing?

- In middle Europe festivals are starting already in May. We are trying to release this record somewhere March-April and after that we are probably going for a club tour.After that comes naturally festivals and after that, in fall we are going to our own big tour.

Burton:I dont read that much but I once read about Dingo.(Finnish very famous group in the 80ies)

Gas:I only read pornmags & Donald Duck.

Ville also says the book is easy to read,lot of pictures and you dont have to read the whole book at one time and it also suits to read in the toilet..

About the new album Ville says the title Love Metal describes the music on the record very well.The forth record will be different than the others,much longer and has songs like Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath.

So its kinda like the 70ies?
Ville:No but longer songs,at least 5 minutes each of them and songs where the guys gets to play much more than in the previous ones.

Rumour says it will be more like GLV666?
Ville:That is not true.Love Metal doesnt remind of any of our albums,its new kind of HIM.

Will the tour start direct after the release?
Ville:Well the festivals starts some places already in may and we try to get the album out by march-april.Then we probably do a small club tour,then festivals and later next fall a big tour.

-That pressure is released one way or other: sometimes I fire the whole band, sometimes I just fill my head with booze, sometimes I beat the wall with my fists, - confesses the singer.
Few years ago in a German tour Ville tried to jump from 13th floor window from his hotel room.
- My friends dragged me from the window, I was deadly drunk and didn’t think further that to just jump out of this all. At the moment it felt like a solution, -remembers Ville. - It was one of these crises. When you have a tourney of months, these things happens.
In Him it's stormy too often.
- Unbelievable fights comes from ridiculous reasons, when we are sitting in the stinking bus with the same group for months, - thinks the songmaker of the band.

The band are back at the Finnvox studios in Helsinki to record the 4th album with the working title "Love Metal" . Hiili, who produced "Greatest Love Songs vol.666" is engineering. Mige and Linde are currently recording their parts and Ville will be doing vocals later on in October. The basic recordings of at least 11 new songs will be done before the end of the month. A couple of tracks will be mixed at the end of October in London by Tim Palmer (www.timpalmer.com) and the rest of the mixes are done in Los Angeles in November/December. The release can be expected in March/April.

The American version of Razorblade Romance with Sigillum Diaboli and The 9th Circle as additional tracks will be released on Tuesday October 8th in Boston/Massachusets area on Jimmy Franks Recording Company label and should be available at least in all Newberry Comics stores. NEW YEAR'S EVE AT TAVASTIA CONFIRMED :

There will again be a New Year's Eve show with HIM + support at Helsinki's Tavastia Club on December 31st. Tickets priced at 26 € will go on sale on Monday, September 30th through the Tiketti Box Office in Finland. All Finnish customers should use Tiketti's services.

FinS-Tours SA of Switzerland will arrange a complete package including tickets to the show, hotel and flights from various German and Swiss airports. They will have 150 packages available from www.fins-tours.ch.

HEARTAGRAM also reserved 50 tickets for those who want to make their own travel arrangements to Finland. The tickets can be reserved by filling in the reservation form. First 50 reservations will have the priority and they will be contacted individually with payment instructions. Please note that there will be no more than 50 tickets available and these will not be sold to customers in Finland.

Also note that there's a strict minimum age limit of 18 at Tavastia.

Syndrome of Gothic Finns – Moscow Consomol 11 of September 2002.
While Finnish guys are trying to stir inert teenagers in the distant Siberia, others (by the way much more musical topical at the moment) bring to a nervous head American lawyers in the American depth.

Namely HIM, almost Gothic-rock beauties appeared in the history, threatened with legal case. Not because of the lyrics (they are about love only), not because of the over saturated with pentagrams cover of the CDs, even not because of the methodical destruction, for example number of hotels, but only because of their name.
His Internal Majesty (HIM) can’t show and sell their albums in USA long ago. The point is that brother twin of the European sweethearts appeared lately – a band called Him in Chicago. The band, in other words, doesn’t have any serious plans in the show business – but is full of “pocket ambitious” (financial).
And that’s not all – they broke up the Finns namely in the moment, when they are ready to fascinate the world and they actively are necessitating transoceanic connections…but to be honest: the Americans has registrated their name “Him” in USA much earlier than the Finnish “brothers” and of course, they won’t disunite with their lawful name. The resident of Mega house in Europe had to comment the situation upon the manager and creator of the Fenlands HIM…
-When we got that we couldn’t use the name HIM in USA, because it has already been registrated in the category “amusements” by another band, we decided to change the name of the band, special for the American market. Let it be HER (HIM, literal him and HER – her). Funny, but that is our only choice. We start tentative promotion in USA, conduct talks with the radio stations. There already has a label “Jimmy Franks Recording”, belonging to the leader of Bloodhound gang, Jimmy Pop. Concerning the new album, for now the question is open – I can only say that it will be CD “Razorblade romance”.

Concerning the American Him, I can promise that if we can’t use this name in America, so they will not be allowed to use their name in Europe either. Although, they are not interested in Europe, they are small provincial jazz band after all…

The leader’s mood of the hot Finnish guys, Ville Valo looks easy like always:
-We’ve ever heard about American band Him long ago. But they had some manifestation in the beginning of 90th and after that looked like they disformed the band. And now they are clearing up that they are on a tour, but it doesn’t matter. We will be HER.

-Did you have a chance to talk with the Americans about that theme – just to have a talk?
-Not for now. The point is that this is Christian jazz band and we are personification of evil for them. (Maybe that’s why they pent up themselves like that. Otherwise they would give in and that would be the end of the problem.) I don’t see any problems at all, they are the only one who sees but we are not going to have a fight.

-I have to say that you could use that scandal as a part of PR campaign for conquest of the American market.
-We could but I don’t know how. As a matter of fact, being HER in America is not that bad.

-To whom was the simple, but witty idea to change the name HIM to HER?
- The authorship is to Gas, our drummer. He likes to outrage combination of words.

-Ville, do you know that in Russia the word HER is being accepted ambiguity (has many meanings…I think one of them is “thingy”...at least that’s what I’ve heard)
-O-o-o! Remarkable! We are going on stage and: “Hello, we are HER (“thingyes”) from Helsinki.

     This is what i got from a spanish "metal" magazine, read it and be surprised! ----->

Los fineses H.I.M. han comenzado la preproducción del que será su próximo álbum de estudio, previsto para ver la luz a principios del 2003, según ha informado el periódico finlandés Iltalehti. El CD, que deberá empezar a grabarse a finales de este mismo año, supondrá según el noticiario un regreso a la raíces de Black Sabbath y Led Zeppelin. "Nuestro último CD fue para las chicas, pero este será para los chicos," ha declarado desafortunadamente su frontman Ville Valo.

The finnish band H.I.M. have started with the production of their latest studio release, as has reported the finnish magazine "Iltalehti". The cd, which they are gonna start to record at the end of the year, will suppose according to the magazine, a return to roots of Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin. "Our last CD (DS&BH) was for girls, but this one's gonna be for boys" - has declared unfortunately their frontman "Ville Valo".

     No entanto o entrevistas com os HIM dizem o contrario.. afinal que dvd é este? E porque é que os americanos tem direito a ele e nós não?!!? :

Scratch: Would you ever release a Video/DVD collection of HIM music videos, tour footage, etc…?

Mige: There’s been speculation about that but…

Ville: It takes a lot of effort…

Mige: And should be done well.

Ville: Yeah. I hate those DVD’s which are only concert footage. Actually the latest DVD from Cradle of Filth is really good. I’ve got it. Because it’s got documentaries like the promotional video clips, it’s got seven in five minute live things. It’s got plenty of stuff for fans and good DVD’s should be like that. We’re thinking of doing this really crazy 30 minute documentary as a tribute to Kiss with that low voice guy talking about we exploded in Germany and blah, blah, blah… That boombastic kinda thing…

Mige: Or maybe not. It may not be a wise decision but we’re planning to do that.

Ville: So we’re basically working on it. We’re gonna shoot a couple of gigs after we finish our tour in a couple of weeks and then hopefully if we get the material together it might be that we release a DVD before Christmas.

14.08 - Fotos do M'era Luna Festival & Notícias dos HIM

     Podes encontrar fotos dos HIm, deste festival em 2sites: Schwarze Seiten e Snapshot

     Após este festival os HIM, vão passar alguns dias de descanso no México, depois teram um Festival no Mexico dia 31.
     Vão regressar à Finlândia para começar a gravar o novo cd nos principios de Setembro com o Hiili, o mesmo que produziu o Vol.666 :). As misturas vão ser feitas em Dezembro/Janeiro, e com sorte na Primavera o cd é editado! Após isto, vao ter uns festivais e uma grande tourne em 2003. Ao que se sabe os Demos são bastante animadores, podendo os fãs dos HIM esperar um album mt mais rock do que o DH&BH. =)

12.08 - Nova música

     No concerto de 11.08.2002, M'ERA LUNA FESTIVAL, os HIM cantaram uma das novas músicas do próximo cd. Quem ouviu diz ser uma música mais po rock.. e mt boa!! O nome é Soul OF Fire ou Soul ON Fire. ;)

09.08 - Uma foto mt esquesita... & uns rumores...

     Parece que o nome HER começa a ser razão para um certo gozo, não acham? Votem no nome HER em www.heartagram.com .

     Pois é.. andam ai uns rumores que o Ville arranjou uma namorada :) Foram apanhados pelos Papparatzzi. Ao que pude apurar tem cerca de 1,75, magra, com cabelo preto, uma cara mt bonita, dois grandes olhos verdes, e usa roupas bens justinhas, desde Merço que são vistos juntos em todos os meses até hj! Outro rumor diz que Burton foi apanhado em flagrante na cama com uma rapariga ;) isto no festival sziget.

17.07 - HIM/HER

     Join Me passou nas rádios de USA, à umas semanas atras, com o nome da banda intitulado por HER. O nome HIM, já esta registado em Chicago, e não há nenhuma maneira de mudar isso. Doug Sharin (principal elemento da banda HIM em USA) quanto a este assunto, mostra-se bastante agressivo. Eis uma entrevista dada por ele:
     "However, when I meet him in London during his recent visit to the UK, he is preoccupied by the existence of a very different HIM, who are due to play the city the following week. "I'm about to get embattled with the evil HIM - from Finland," he informs me. "They're sort of a Death Metal band, but it's a little more glam - they have songs like "Love Affair 666" and "Join Me In Death" and all this shit. And they're apparently really big in Germany. Their HIM stands for His Infernal Majesty. I'm seriously opposed to it, man, and as far as I can make out, we had the name first."
