Our band started when I (Brin) met Alex. He had been jamming with a drummer named Chris Farley (yes, his name is indeed Chris) for a few years and needed a bass player. So we had our first jam session, and all we played was dammit and ironman for 3 hours strait. but we didnt sound too increadibly bad (as good as a bunch of 13 year olds could get). We used the name "Post-it and the Sticky Notes" which alex's old band had used. Then we had our first gig at a school dance, where everybody was fashionably late and missed us, those bastards, and our 2nd gig was in a christian chapel, which was kinda weird. But then we realized we utterly sucked and broke up.

The next year, me and Alax were jamming, and we come accross one of our friends who hit the drums in a better order than chris. And he was the very first decent rock drummer I had ever seen who wasnt abnormaly large, it brought tears to my eyes. So, of coarse, Nick's our new drummer. Then I learned possibly the most important thing that has ever come into my life... I sound good if I scream into a microphone. Instead of writing nice little acoustic ballads like I used to do... I now jump up and down turning my face red. After a year and a half of Alex's singing, I thought I had better learn to sing, but then Alex got better, now we have 2 singers, which rocks. Then we had to come up with a name, the original one was "The Gender Benders",  then it was "10 cent Truth" for about 2 days, then (my personal favorite) "1 inch cold", but we didnt want any more problems with inapropriate names. But then we all decided on "20 Minute Monday" (props to Steve). But then, the stoped deciding and went to soundpipe system, then to 10 cent adventure, then back to 20 minute monday, our adventure ends there.
