Minus 30 Sim

This first picture is what “normal” vision would see looking at a computer screen.

This is what it is like when you are -30.00 without your glasses looking at the computer screen.  You can make out colors, and tell some shapes, but really can’t distinguish objects.

When you put your -30.00 glasses on, you see this.  Notice how much smaller everything looks.  Also notice how everything gets distorted (curved) as you move out from the center of the picture.  And even though things are clear, the smaller letters are hard hard to read because the glasses make everything so small.

This picture is what “normal” vision would see at a distance.

This is what it is like when you are -30.00 without your glasses looking at a distance.  You can make out some colors, but can’t make out shapes.  The only way you would know you are looking at a house, is because you know it’s there!

When you put your -30.00 glasses on, you see this.  Notice how much smaller everything looks.  Everything is about 50% actual size.  Also notice how everything gets distorted (curved) as you move out from the center of the picture.  And even though things are clear, you must look very closely to see details that a person with “normal” vision sees easily.  For example, look at the swingset with the yellow slide in the background.
