11/20/2000: I finally got brave and ventured out today. It's REALLY hard driving with "the glasses". The hood of my car looks
20 feet long. It's hard to judge distances of objects (e.g. other cars, roads, signs, etc.). It's real hard turning corners. The hardest thing was pulling in/out of my garage. Besides all
that, IT WAS INCREDIBLE!!! I loved every minute of the experience. I only went about 10 miles. It’s hard driving when you’re OD’d on GoC!!!
I SO want to walk around with “the glasses”, like at a mall or something, and have people take a double-take when they see my glasses. Or see them whisper to their buddy "that guy is BLIND - did you see
his glasses!" Or go into Lenscrafters and talk with the salespeople and ask them if they could copy my prescription. And wait for them to put the glasses in their little machine that reads
prescriptions and watch it blow up! Or worse yet, see them come back and say, “Yes, Mr Prism, we can copy your glasses. The prescription is -2.70 and it will only cost $2,000, which includes scratch
resistant coating”...
