Minus 13 Add 2

Here are my strong lenses.  I acquired these through a real eye exam.  During the exam, I blurred my eyes as much as possible to get the  strongest possible prescription.  Of course, during the near/reading test, I  could not make my eyes accomodate any more - thus - BIFOCALS!  The prescription  (about the same in both eyes) is: -11.00 x -2.00 x 180, add +2.00.  These are  normal plastic lenses in order to get maximum thickness.  I actually have 2 pair  of these since they had a buy 1 get 1 free special.  These have ST35 bifocals.   My others have the ST28.  I read somewhere that the wearer of minus lenses sees  things 3% smaller for each Diopter of power.  This means these make objects 33%  smaller on one axis, and 39% smaller on the other.  That seems about right to me  when I wear these!  Click on picture for larger image.
