AFTER FOREVER:
Daron Mitchell:  Vocals
Mike Underhill:  Guitar
Rob Cooper:  Drums
This band was a result of Mike and Daron being in choir class in high school.  They were putting on a concert that allowed students the opportunity to play a song in front of a crowd.  They asked me if I'd like to play drums on their song.......and of course I jumped at the chance.  The song we played was Simple Man by Lynnard Skynnard.  It was a good experience and really fun.  After we had played our song and wowed the crowd (heh heh) I was talking with Mike outside and we both decided that it would be cool to start a band from what we had just done.  We later chose the name of a Black Sabbath song for our band name.  We were available for FREE!!  We played a couple "festivals" and eventually played again at school for the fall festival.  That SUCKED to say the least.  We had a decent set of songs and could play them reletively well, but the thing is.......drums slide on slick tiled floor.  I think I had a rug for the first time we played there, but this time.....I had to stop playing at the beginning of our first song (Rock n Roll - Zeppelin) because my drums were getting away from me!!!!!!!!!

Anyway.  What was really fun about this band is that we would end up playing these country type events and play our rock music.  I don't remember what the town was called, but this one festival we played at we finished our set with the star spangled banner.........very poorly.  Heh heh.  That was a funny one.  Of course, the only person that was paying attention to us besides the few family and friends there was a little boy standing right up front (in front of the flat bed trailer we played on).  He later asked us to come play at his birthday party.  We had hit the big time!!
