Utah
Thanksgiving weekend of 2000, Neil, Maxine and I went to Utah. We flew to Salt Lake City and hung out there for a day. We then went to Park City for 3 days. In Park City, Maxine ice skated and went cross country skiiing. Neil and I weren't so into participating in the winter sports. We did go to Olympic Park though to see where the good people will participate in the winter sports. The Stein-Eriksson Lodge, where we stayed, was great! Park City has a small but fascinating Radio Museum with what looked like a great record collection. Like everyone told me before I went, Utah does have some strange liquor laws. I became a temporary member of 2 "private clubs" (a fancy name for a bar) while I was there. The price to become a member was equivelent to a cover charge for most clubs here in New York, except where the cover charge is only for 1 night, the membership was good for 1-2 weeks (but you didn't get the atmosphere and good music and good drinks at these bars that you get at New York ones).
