I wonder if anyone going through the training program at Club Med ever tells people that they are a med student.
Ah, I only have 3 days before I leave and I have A LOT of stuff to get done before then. It'll all get done though. I had a nice relaxing day yesterday and now I'm all ready to face the week. Oh, so that's what weekend are for. I get it now.
I'm REALLY looking forward to being in Baltimore. The most interesting part will be seeing Sylvia. It was my idea (I was having a bad day) to get together and it's her idea for me to go over to her apartment when Matt will be out at his card game Tuesday night. I think that's a great idea. That way if we don't get along, we won't be out in a public place. Also, I'm thinking of finding some way to stick around until Matt gets home so he's forced to see me. Maybe that's not a smart idea, but it sounds like fun. We'll see how the evening goes. If it goes really well, I might leave things alone. If not... well then, I think Matt will get to see Sylvia's Tuesday night visitor.
I also think I'll be able to go to the Ren Faire on the 30th (please don't be raining, I hate Ren Faires in the rain). Eytan said he would go with me. The only bad thing is that Women of Whimsey are only playing the weekend after, so I miss my favourite Faire thing. That's okay though, there's still all the other fun stuff- Shakespeare's Skum, Meade, Jousting...
I finished all my laundry!!!!! What a good feeling- I love clean clothes, especially when they're ALL clean!
I should probably eat something since I haven't eaten all day but of course, as usual, I don't have anything here so I'll have to go out and get something. And I never feel like leaving in the evening (for some reason it's much easier to go out in the morning). So I probably just won't eat anything. No, I think I should make myself go out and I can take out the trash and mail some things on the way. But I can just as easily do those two things tomorrow morning when I have to go out anyway.
I'm hoping that the dry cleaners will be able to get my stuff back to me the next day since I'm leaving in the morning the day after that. If they don't, I suppose I could try a little ironing on Friday morning after I get there. It's just that I thought you're not supposed to iron silk.
So, should I go get something to eat? All I have here is cereal, crackers, and I can make some jello. Yuck. I think I'll go out. Maybe I can even get back before the end of the third quarter of Monday NIGHT Football.

I'm feeling awfully relaxed for someone who's leaving 3 days and still has so much to do before then.
I think school makes me a more stressed-out kind of person. No matter how much I have to do these days, it still feels less stressful than when I was taking classes. That's not a good thing. Perhaps if I could take classes and not have so many other responsibilities...
Brie and I might go karaoke tomorrow night. Speaking of Brie... yesterday Matt & Brie were drinking and hanging out in the living room and I was in there a lot as well. Brie wanted Matt to get up and make her another cocktail. Matt didn't want to get up. Brie threatened to pee on him if he didn't get up. He still didn't get up and told her she would never do something like that. Well, to prove him wrong, she did it. She peed on him while he was laying on the living room floor. And I was in the room. It still amazes me how much she'll do. Although, I think this one amazed her too.
Oops, I almost forgot to call the Warwick. I meant to make reservations today. Actually, today I meant to ask what day Neil & Maxine need to come in. I guess I'll just make a reservation for the day that I think, and then if it's wrong, I'll call back to change it. At least I remembered to call. Hopefully I won't have any trouble negotiating a rate. If I had called today, I could have talked to Justine who I know will give me a good rate (or at least there's more of a chance of getting a good rate with her). I guess I could try again tomorrow if tonight doesn't work out. I hope it works. I really don't feel like researching New York hotels again. That's just not a nice thing to add to the list of things I need to get done before I leave.
Tori Amos had a baby on September 6!
And "Good Omens" will be a movie! I hope it's as good as the book (or at least close to being as good as the book).
Maybe I could go to the Arts & Industries Museum in December around the holidays. And while I'm there I can see if Charlie or Tom is able to give me a tour of the Pentagon.
