Road Trip 1994
Andi and I were going to help Steffani move to New Mexico- I was going to follow behind them in my car. The day before we were to leave, Steffani's car died. We piled as much of her stuff into my car as we could, and shipped the rest. We drove as fast as we could (through Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, and New Mexico) out to Albuquerque so Steff could start her life there. After spending a few days with her, Andi and I left and continued our road trip. We went west to the Grand Canyon (since it was only 8 hours away), then headed south to White Sands, NM, we then headed east- passing San Antonio, TX and New Orleans, LA, heading back north through Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia- we stopped in Blacksburg, VA (I actually didn't like that town on this first visit- it wasn't until later that I fell in love with it) since Eytan (I barely knew him at the time) offered us a place to stay, and then we drove through West Virginia back to Maryland. There were some rough points, but in general, it was a fun trip!
