At the end of March, my sister Anastasia, friend Yevgeniy, and I took a quick excursion to Montreal and Quebec. In Montreal we stayed with my lovely old friend Marina. I was glad to see Marina's wonderful family again. Her little sister Anastasia is absolutely adorable!

Montreal was vivacious and exciting as always.

This was our first time in Quebec. It revealed itself as a very nice little town full charming old buildings and shops selling maple syrup and chocolate. Roaming the narrow streets of Quebec we met a guy who, notably, spoke fluent Russian. Surprisingly, he said he had not practiced it in 14 years (must be a spy). We simply could not resist having dinner at his restaurant.
