Sub:   Corrigendum to DGMS (Genl) Circular No.1 of  2001 dated 19.4.2001

Reorganization of Eastern Zone Sitarampur & Nagpur Region under Western Zone, Nagpur.

 

Sir,

 

Please refer to the jurisdiction of Sitarampur Region NO.III in the Jharkhand State given in the appendix of above mentioned circular.

 

Due to oversight the “Pakur” district which was created out of earlier “Sahibganj” district has been left out. Accordingly all mines in ‘Pakur’ district shall also be within jurisdiction of Sitarampur Region NO.III. The revised jurisdiction of Sitarampur Region No.III shall be as under :-

 

SITARAMPUR REGION NO.III

HQ at Sitarampur

State of West Bengal.

(a) All mines in the District of Burdwan situated on the South of G.T.Road except those included in Sitarampur Region. No.I.

 

 (b) All mines in the district of Burdwan bounded by road leading from Pandaveswar ghat to Haripur, Krishnanagar, Jamuria and Darbardanga.

State of Jharkhand.

(a)      All mines in the district of Dumka, Deoghar, Godda, Sahebganj and Pakur.

(b)     (b) All mines in the district of Dhanbad lying South of G.T.Road and to the East of North-South line drawn through mile post 150 on G.T.Road.

 

 


 

 

All other details in DGMS(Genl) Circular No.1 of 2001 dated 19.4.2001 shall remain unchanged.
