The Plaque-Attacker line of Dental Bones (4 sizes) first came on the market in the early 1990's and millions of the products have been sold worldwide. The bone is designed to massage a dog's teeth and gums with specially designed dental tips. When used properly, the ASPCA-approved Plaque Attacker bone is a safe and effective aid in reducing problems associated with periodontal disease in dogs. However, any dental dog bones, regardless of manufacturer, can present problems when they are inappropriate in size or have become old and worn. When improperly monitored during use, the bones can become frayed and worn, increasing the possibility of large pieces being bitten off and swallowed. Nylabone is highly committed to pet safety and we take all customer concerns seriously. Because of the need for quality dental chews, Nylabone has developed a new line of Dental Chews, which will be available by the end of the year. These new items will then immediately replace the four (4) Plaque Attacker Dental Bones Here is how the exchange program works: Consumers who want to return any of the four Plaque Attacker Dental Bones can either return it to the store where they purchased the item or return it to Nylabone (Product Returns, PO Box 427, Neptune, NJ 07754-0427). Nylabone will gladly exchange the item with another appropriately sized Nylabone chew, plus guidelines for use. Be sure to include your name, address and telephone, as well as breed, weight and age of your dog. Please allow four to six weeks for processing and delivery.
