Definitions:
Plus/Minus Rating is a rating players are given based on the number of times they have been on the ice when a goal is scored by their team (+) or by the opposing team (-). The higher the +/- of a player, the better they supposedly are at setting up a play.
Points for a team are given as follows: 2 pts for every win and 1 pt for every tie game at the end of regulation. So even if a team loses in overtime, they still get a point.
Overtime periods are played only when there is a tie at the end of regulation. In regular season games, OT is a five minute period with only four skaters and a goalie per team. If no team scores at the end of the five minutes, the game is logged as a tie. In playoff games, OT becomes "sudden death," stopping only when a goal is scored. Periods are 20 minutes long with five skaters and a goalie per team.

**Let me know if there's any more definitions you'd like to see here. I didn't know what other ones to put up.
