Step 2:
Compose your first
letter (use the attached as a sample).
When you have finished your first letter, hand in this draft for
approval. Once I have approved your
letter, you may finish writing the remaining letters and envelopes.
All letters are to
be typewritten and will count as an assignment grade. All letters should be placed in self-addressed, stamped envelopes
and given to me for credit. Do not mail
yourself!! You will not receive credit
if you mail your own letters.
You are required to prepare a research paper
and a presentation on a U.S. company this quarter.
The research paper should
be an average of FIVE pages for the
body. Also include: and interesting
cover page, table of contents, and a bibliography page. The paper should be prepared using the
resources that you receive from the businesses you contacted, library research,
products, packaging, promotion, advertising, current news from TV, magazines
etc…

packaging, and promotion. Make an
outline of points you want to make about the company in a logical format. Begin writing – jot down ideas, expand
information so that it is complete and

prepare an oral presentation. This presentation should include a poster board
showing: product samples, advertising strategies, logos, slogans,
organizational charts etc…. Creativity

Presentations are
to be a minimum of 5 minutes and should capture class participation and
attention.
