| On the right is an example of the roads experienced in the far east of Russia- I am told that this is the Siberian equivalent |
| of the M5, which Bill tells me did more damage to the Morris's suspension than the dirt tracks that pass for the highways of Mongolia. The photograph below illustrates the worsening conditions on the road to Ulanbataar, or it might actually be Mars, I can't be sure. |
