MINK Live @ Windows On The Cumberland Nashville, TN 12-07-02 (With a.k.a. Rudie)
After Mink's amazing showing at their CD release party at the end of November, they had a lot to follow up.  Did they do it?  Yes, they did, and with it being the last show in the area for a while, it left a good lasting image.  Windows on the Cumberland is a much differnt place than the Blue Sky Court.  The main difference is the size.  Windows is one of, if not THE, smallest places around.  This makes for a very cool place to see a show.
After arriving at this small place and waiting for a while, Mink took the stage with power.  They opened with "Lie To Me" and went straight into "Maybe."  The songs folllowed as normal.  They tore through many of the songs on the new album, some old favorites, and some not on the record.  As usual, some of the highlights of the night were "Candy Sweet," "Girl 17," and the show closer "My Star."  This time "God" wasn't played; I wish it had been.  Also, it seems "Spinning" has been dropped, but the songs that aren't on the CD are great live!
Over all, this was another great Mink show, but will Mink ever put on a bad show?  I don't think so.  I just wish this one has been longer.  I had to leave before a.k.a. Rudie played.  Oh well, maybe I'll see them next time.  Everyone go see Mink!
