Student viewpoints and reflections:

This supplement is growing out of what was originally designated a Verbal (TOEFL) In-depth class. In line with our school's philosophy of "studying for the sake of Learning, and not for the sake of personal gain" we took a turn down the road less travelled and decided to use this time to really learn English!

Although these students are preparing for Korean exams for entrance into Domestic universities, we have decided to take this time as a chance to prepare (like the "Ivy" students) for the exams required for study abroad.

Below you will find then "Minjok" students attacking English with the same zeal and intensity as the "Ivy" students. They are challenging to take on English novels, step by step--starting with the smaller works and working their way up to the confidence in Critical Reading skills that the Ivy Students are striving for. So drop them a line and give them some encouragement!
