10/06/2007 - MINI TORNADO FINISH REGULAR SEASON ON A ROLL - With the playoff picture already in place including a 2nd place finish in the National division for the Mini Tornado, the Mini Tornado reeled off their 5th straight victory Saturday night with a nail biting 38-29 win over the Oakland Renegades. The Keyser B Team did all the scoring but it was the A team with a strong defense that led to the win. The B team put up 26 points in the 1st quarter with TD runs by Amonte Turner, Q. Peck, & Cody Rodeheaver. Dalton Wilt passed to Peck for a PAT giving Keyser the early advantage. Oakland answered in the 2nd with TD runs of 12 and 2 yards. Both PAT's good, the halftime score was 26-14. The B team started right where they left off with Wilt and Peck scoring in the 2nd half. With a 4th Q score of 38-14 Oakland recorded a safety and two TD's and 1 PAT good. It was the Keyser A team defense that stepped it up and denied the Oakland offense late 4th Q scores, causing a turnover on downs. Keyser will host a first round playoff game this Saturday against the Cumberland Reds. Gametime is 10am. |

9/29/2007 - MINI TORNADO RUN WILD OVER RAIDERS - With 445 yards of total rushing offense, the Mini Tornado A/B squad had its highest output of the season in a 73-6 victory over the Cumberland Raiders. Keyser's B team attribuited to 34 of the 73 points with touchdown runs by Cody Rodeheaver, Q. Peck, Amonte Turner, Matthew Liller, and Logan Kesner. Dalton Wilt and Harley Yaider also added PAT's for the B Team. Keyser's A team put up 39 points on touchdown runs by Dustin Lucas, Blake Ravenscroft, Garrett Crites, Travis Smith and Noah Hartman (Only Keyser player to score more than 1 TD). Keyser now 5-2 will travel to Oakland for it's regular season finale this Saturday to face the 3-4 Oakland Renegades. Game time is 6pm. |

9/29/2007 - C TEAM KEEPS PACE WITH VICTORY OVER THE RAIDERS - The C team improved their record to 5-2 on the season with a 26-0 shutout of the Cumberland Raiders on Saturday. Wade Greason and Brady Ours each scored 2 touchdowns to lead the Keyser offense. Ours scored first on a 62 yard run,. Greason's PAT made it 7-0 early. Greason then rambled 72 yards for his first score of the game, with Ours returning the PAT favor giving Keyser a 14-0 lead at half. The 2nd hald was more of the same with Greason firts scoring ona 32 yard scamper followed by Our's 40 yard run. In all Greason finished with 122 yards followed bu Ours 109 yards. Austin O'Haver lead the Keyser defense with 11 tackles. Jalen Hollingsworth and Charles Myers were also defensive standouts for Keyser. Keyser travels to Oakland to face the Oakland Renegades this Saturday. Gametime is 6pm |

9/22/2007 - MINI TORNADO A/B TEAM BEATS LIONS - The Keyser Mini Tornado scored on the first play of the game and never looked back in defeating the previously unbeaten Lavale Lions 46-6 Saturday in Lavale. The Keyser B Team scored 20 unanswered points in the 1st quarter and 5 touchdowns on the day to lead an explosive offensive showing. Quentin Peck started the scoring on the 1st play from scrimmage by rambling 55 yards for the score. The PAT run failed. After stopping the Lions offense, Keyser scored again on a 1 yard run by QB Dalton Wilt. The PAT run by Cody Rodeheaver made it 13-0. Keyser again scored when Amonte Turner sprinted 42 yards for the endzone. A Dalton Wilt PAT made it 20-0. Lavale got their only score when Caleb Sivic ran in from 23 yards out late in the 1st. Keyser quickly answered by driving 53 yards followed by Dalton Wilt scoring his second TD of the day. A Wilt pass wor Quentin Peck made it 27-6 before the A team took the field. Keyser's A team kept it going with a touchdown run by Garret Crites and another by Dustin Lucas followed by a PAT pass from Lucas to make the score 40-6 at half. Keyser's Andrew Liller scampered from 12 yards out in the 3rd for the only score of the half. Final score 46-6. Keyser now 4-2 plays the Cumberland Raiders this Saturday at Tornado Alley on the campus of Clark Field in Keyser. Keyser's B Team finished the day with 236 yards rushing on 26 carries while the A Team racked up 136 yards on 18 carries. |

9/22/2007 - MINI TORNADO C TEAM RUN WILD OVER LIONS - The Keyser Mini Tornado C team notched their 4th victory of the season on Saturday by mauling the Lavale Lions 39-6 in LaVale. Keyser had all the scoring for the first half with TD runs of 11 yards by Lindsay Washington, a 4 yard run by Wade Greason, and a 24 yard run by Brady Ours. Christian Ravenscroft added to PAT's making the score 20-0 at the half. Greason began the scoring in the 2nd half by rambling from 10 yards out, followed by runs of 5 yards for Ryan Spencer and 15 yards by Charles Myers. Myers also added a PAT. LaVale's lone score of the game came late in the half with a 10 yard run. Keyser now 4-2 play against the Cumberland Raiders Saturday September 29 at Clark Field in Keyser. Game time is 9:30am |
