Hi!

Why would anyone click on a link called Jesus? Possibly because you're looking for The Ministry's databases, but it can't be denied that no other man who lived 2000 years ago is talked about anything like as much. In fact Jesus was voted Time Magazine's person of the century, the criteria being whoever had had most influence on the world in the 20th century (or something like that!). I'd like to suggest 3 things that were special about him, and 3 possible reasons why he is still considered a key person in history:

Jesus came for, and cared about ordinary people Quoting from the new International Version of the bible,
Luke 2v17:Jesus said to them, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners."

Jesus said that at a party where the lowlifes of the time were hanging out. He wasn't just interested in the religious people, or even those who had money or power. Jesus said that he had come to provide an answer for people who realised that their lives could be changed for the better. Following him isn't about being a good, respectable person, it involves realising that we need a doctor to heal all that is wrong with our lives.
