| Current News New Construction In March we began our new project of adding classrooms and a new men's dormitory. It is not complete! If you would like to come and help.....please contact us. We need more volunteers/teams. We are currently raising funds for this new addition, if you would like to contribute to a matching fund, you can send your offering in NOW to: LACC, 1445 Boonville, Ave., Springfield, MO 65802. Designate it to Project #7273, Deaf School in Nicaragua. 13 new Deaf souls won to Christ! We invited Kevin and Karla Babin to Nicaragua on weekend of June 30th. The Assemblies of God were celebrating 15 years of Christian Education. It was a Gala event with a parade, bands, typical dance, visit from President of Nicaragua, visit from Minister of Education ...all in the National Stadium...with thousands of students and church members attending. That Friday and Sunday we included special meetings for the Deaf students and community in the school. Kevin and Karla shared and it was just amazing how they picked up the signs so quickly and ministered effectively. Praise God! 13 new souls! July 23 - Students return from Vacation The students will come with much excitement to be finally together again. They enjoy their friends and community at the school. Prayer Needs 1) Students and staff at the school, 2) Out outreach Bible studies in the Deaf community 3) Opportunity to get a bus thru a foreign mbassy 4) More deaf souls won to Christ |
