| Meet our Minister: Lucy Covarrubias (Look for the ceremony at the bottom of the page) This is the only multilingual Mexican Minister (Fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish) that has also been acknowledged as an Expert Translator by the Supreme Court of Justice of her country. She was also conferred the honor of becoming the Director of the Languages Department of the Cultural Center of Puerto Vallarta at a Ceremony that took place at the Yacht Club of Marina Vallarta, Puerto Vallarta. The Governor of the State of Jalisco at that time, The Major of the City then, the Consul of the United States and the Consul of Canada were present among other personalities. She has married very important personalities like Government members of Canada, US Lobbyists as well as important Mexicans of the highest ranks . She appears too at the books SuperLearning and SuperLearning 2000 written by Sheila Ostrander and Lynn Shroeder, published by Bantam Doubleday in New York. The books have been translated to Spanish, German, French, and Japanese among other languages. She is quoted there as reference for she is expert in the technique of SuperLearning. A fully ordained Nondenominational Minister, studied for years the different costumes and traditions of different religions East and West of the world. Well acquainted with Christian Churches, she too understands other phylosophies. She has been in Buddhist, Hindi, Jewish Ceremonies, and guided Vows for couples. |

| Recently she translated for the Governor of the State of Jalisco, The Secretary of Tourism of the State, the Mayor of the City amongst many other very important personalities in an International Event of the Sister Cities of United States and Mexico. Authorities like the FBI of USA and other important local Mexican Police Departments had been benefited by her dilligent work as an expert translator as well. She has translated as well for the local Red Cross*, Wellfare Department, Firefighters of Puerto Vallarta and others She even aided in the case of the Max Factor grandson in Puerto Vallarta, by translating to the US authorities as well as the Mexican authorities in the Mexican hearing previous to his deportation. ..As the chosen Minister and Translator for the Consulate of The United States she participated too at the First Sep 11, 2002 Memorial held in Puerto Vallarta in a multi-faith Service where people from multiple beliefs were important part of and translated too for the General Consul of the United States of America and for other participants as well. |
