A Heart Abiding in God's Word

This Psalms may be considered as the statement of a believer's experience. As for as

our views, desires and affections, pslams 119 comes to us from the  influences of the

Holy Spirit. The writer is not written to everybody, but rather to those who knows their

name has been changed., those who are redeemed, those who know and understand that

they are a part of the royal family, Holy Nation that is set forth to praise  Him (God)

because God, brought us out of darkness and placed us in His marveouls light.

How do you know this? He begins to open the text by talking about how the believers are

blessed.

Verse 1, Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the way of the LORD.2, Blessed
are those who keep his testimonies, and that seek him whith his whole heart.3,They also do
not walk in iniquity: they walk in his way.

Their steps are not dictated by man, or by politics but rather their steps are gudied by and order

by the Lord. They are God Chasers. We miss God, when we are to busy, in church business

and not God's business. In verse 3, we find that they stay away from sin. Jabez prayed a prayer

that stated,
" thou keep me from evil, that I may not caused pain". Chronicles 4:10.

Verse 4
Thou has commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently. He never put a position on the text

therefore we all are commanded to keep God's commandments. It does not matter who you are

what your title may be, how many degress you have, it is a command to keep God's preceptes.

Than he said do it
diligently. Hebrews 11:6 "For with out faith it is impossible to please Him: for he

that cometh to Him, must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them
diligently seek Him".

Verse 9 states,  "Wherewithal a young man cleanse way? by taking heed thereto according to thy

word. The only way you are going to make it  is through the word of God, if you are going to be

clean from the sinful dirty life, it's going to be trough the word of God. John 15:3"
you are clean through

the word that I have spoken unto you." After seeing a physician in an emergency room h/she will

tell you this is your symptoms, and take this for the soultion. They have diganosed you, and gave

you advice on how to be cured. Although you can't read the information, you do what they say

in faith, that if I follow the instructions I will be healed, I  will be clean. Clearly the

bibles has diganosed us, for all have sined, and come short of the glory of God, but the gift of

God is eteranl life. We have the answer, so what is our response. 11. thy word have I hid an my

heart that I might not sin against thee. Why did the writer states to hide the word in my heart?

One reason is because we as humans can't remember everything, and if I was able to hide the

word in my mind, I might forget what it states, and the word would not be any good good. If I were

able to hide the word in the way I  talk, my conversations are always not pleasing to God therefore it

is to no effect. If I was able to hide the word in the way I walk that is to say, the places that I go.

The places that I go sometimes are not exceptable to God, therefore it will be to no effect the word will

become nigh to me. If I had the ability to hide the word in my hand, my hand become to busy doing somthing

else, making the word to no effect. Therefore, the writter states to hide the word in your heart that you

may not sin against God. From the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. If I'm able to deposit

word in my heart, I can speak from my heart what God says about me. When I'm face with a problem

I can with draw, word from my heart. So no longer do I have to believe that Im broke, busted and disgusted.

The bible says He gives us ability to get wealth ( Deuteronomy 8:18). The Bible says we went through fire, and

we've gone through the flood, but God brought us to our wealthy place. (Psalms 66 12verse) No longer do I

have to believe, or except that im Hell bound. The Bible, If  I confess with my mouth the Lord Jesus, and

believe in my heart that God raise Jesus from the dead, im shall be saved. (Romans 10:9) That's why it's

important to have a heart abiding in the Word of God.
