Since 1996, Pastor Larry D. Lucas Jr. has been called for the work of ministry. On
September 12,1996 he preached his first sermon at Turner Chapel AME. in Roseland
La. in titled " Don't Let the Devil Still Your Joy". Because he yielded himself, thourgh the
work of the Holy Ghost, many was saved and set free.
One Year later he moved to Baton Rouge La. attended Word of Life Christian Center
under the paster Dr.Leroy Thompson,Sr. There he began to witness the power and
the move of the Holy Spirit by manifesting prosperity, and healings. After receiving the
gift of tounges, he realized that is was no accident attending such an anointed, powerful
ministry.It was then that God was preparing him for an awesome ministry.
After a year, Min. Lucas Jr. moved back home. With the teachings of his father, and the
prayers and counseling of his mother he began to grow more spiritually, but there was yet
a void in his ministry.Through one of teachings of his father the quesioned was ask, " What Put Your Fire Out"?, He entered Christain Bible College in New Orleans La.,tranfered to Christian Bible College,
Covington campus where he is serving as the Assistand Dean as well as a teacher. He has a Bachelor in Theology and will obtain a Master
Degree in May of 2007.
In December 12, 1999 he married a virtuous, praying woman, Erwauna S. Lucas.Together they are over comming obstacles in prayer with faith. Together, they have one son, Ja'Bari D. Lucas.
Min.Lucas loves to teach, and preach. For he is sourrounded by a host of preachers.. His father
(Dr.Larry Lucas Sr.)is a pastor, his mother( Mary Lucas) is an evangelist, older brother( Oyama Lucas) is a preacher, and and older sister (Damirius Lucas) loves to write gospel plays.
God has given Min. Lucas the vision of Harvest Fire Outreach, not to be traditional
but a place where the fire can burn through: Television, Radio, Internet,Tapes,Videos
Crusades, and Conferences. For where there is no vision the people parish. His greatest
saying is " God will bless you the day that he can trust you".
Be in prayer, for we believe In taking the vision OUT so the HARVEST can come IN.
