The text identified the man who was impotent as a certain man, not given him a name or a title yet, identified
him with an issue. We all have issues in our life, what's important is how we individual are dealing with them.
The impotent man for thirty-eight years went to a certain pool to be healed. For thirty-eight years, he was going
to a particular place, particular event looking for his breakthrough. Some of us love attending Prayer and
Deliverance meetings, love to observe. Maybe because of the exposer, but yet fail to realize the healing that we
as an individual or are so desperatley in the need of. Some of us have been in the same church with no healing.
Some of us have, or attending the same annual revivals with no healing, same camp meetings with no healing,
same prayer service with no healing, calling the same prayer hot lines with no healing. The question must be
asked, Do you want to be healed? In order to make a change, one can't continue on with old actions expecting
new results. It's sometimes difficult to identify illness, let me help you a little: If you are praying the same
prayers with no results, chances are you are in the need of a healing. If you are facing the same situation that
you are facing last week, last month or last year chances are, you are in the need of a healing. If you are not
over comming obstacles and spiritaul hurdles, you are in the need of a healing. If you are facing the same habits
thats harmful to you spiritually and physically, you are in the need of a healing.
Sickness is not only a physical illness, one can be spiritual ill as well. Some may be aware of their illness and
have comfort in their ilness. The impotant man realized is condition, and made up in his mind i'm going where
there's Troubling of the Water ! He made up his mind, not another traditional setting. I'm not going where
people grieves God's personality. I'm going where Holy Spirit have an opperunity to move freely, and not boxed
in by "It's now time service", It's now time to pray, it's now time for parise and worship, it's now time for
collection. Can't stay there to long, sombody is getting full of God's presences, or somebody is getting delivered
let's do the welcome. My borther/sisters, there has to come a time when we allow God to have full liberty in not
just our worship service, but also in our lives. When this happens it becomes God time and not ours. Our prayer
must be, not my will Lord but your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
The angel trouble the water at a certain time, a certain seaon. "Wait on your Season" The Bible says:
But they that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as an eagle, they
shall run and not be weary, and they shall walk and not faint".(Isaiah 40:31 KJV) "Be not deceived for God
is not mock. For whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the
flesh reap corruptions, but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us be
not be weary in well doing for in Due Season we shall reap if we Faint not." (Galatians 6:7-9)
Wait On Your Season !
Follow the Jesus's conversation, for there something that most people miss. Jesus asked him, " Wilt thou
be made whole"? The impotent man replied, " Sir, I have no man, but while I'm comming another steppeth
down before me." Mind you that many teach this man was cripple or lame. However, Webster Dictionary
states the oppsite. Webseter define impotent as have ing lacking power, lacking strength. The problem that
he faced was that he had no power. When Jesus replied his comment, He told him to "Rise, take up thy bed
and walk." The impotent man never entered the pool. Some of us have been looking for breakthroughs the way
otheres received them. For thirty-eight years, he witness people jump into a pool a head of him to get a healing.
We can't focus on the pool, or the water. We have to focus on Jesus who is the author and the finisher of our
faith. It does not matter who gets in the poool first any more. The race is no given to whom ever seems the
fastest, or the strongest, but to him/her who has the ability to endure to the end. If you learn to depend on God
He will direct your path. The steps of a good man/woman is order by the Lord. Do want to be Wole?
