| " Do You Want to Be Whole" John 5:2-9 |
The text identified the man who was impotent as a certain man. Not given him a name or a title yet identified him with an issue. We all have issues in our life what's important are how we as indiviuals are dealing with them. The impotent man for 38 years went to a certain pool to be healed. For 38 years, he was going to a particular place, a particular event looking for his breakthrough. Some of you love to attend Prayer and Deliverance meetings, just love to watch; maybe it's just the exposure but you feel to realize the healing that you are so desperatley in the need of. Some of oyou have been in the same church with no healing. Some of you have been attending the same annual revivals with no healing. The same camp meeting with no healing. Same prayer service with no healing. Calling the same prayer lines with no healing. the question is "Do You Want To Be Healed"? Maybe you don't know that you are ill. Let me help you; if you are praying the same prayers chances are, you are in the need of a healing, if you are facing the same situations, you are in the need of a healing, if you are facing the same situations, you are in the need of a healing, if your spiritual life is in the state that it was in last year, you are in the need of a healing, if you are not over comning obstacles, and spiritual hurdles, you are in the need of a healing, if you are facing the same habits that means you no good, you need a healing. Sickness is not just a physical illness. You can be spiritual sick and not aware of it. Some of you know it, and some how have found comfort in your illness. The impotent man realized is condition, and made up in him mind I'm going where there is Troubling of the Water. He made up his mind, not another traditional setting, I'm not going where people greives God's personality where God can't have a free move but are always box in by "it's now time" type of service. It's now time to pray, it's now time for priase and worship, it's now time for collection, can't stay there to long, somebody getting happy lets read a scripture, can't stay there some one is getting free from something, lets do the welcome. My brothers and my sisters, there has to come a time where God has full liberty in not just our service, but in our lives. When we allow God to have full liberty not just in our church services, but in our lives, it becomes not my time but God's time. Not my will but God's will be done on earth as it is in heaven. The angel trouble the water at a certain season.WAIT ON YOUR SEASON ! "But they that Wait on the Lord hall renew their strength, they shall mount uo with wings as eagles, they sahll run and not be weary, and they shall walk and not faint". Isaiah 40:31 "Be not deceived for God is not mock. For whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruptions, but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be Weary in well doing for in DUE SEASON we shall reap if we Faint not".Galatians 6:7-9 Wait on Your Season!!! If you notice, when Jesus talk to him, He ask him, "Wilt thou be made whole"? The impotent man replied, "Sir, I have no man, but while I'm comming another steppeth down before me." Mind you that many teach that this man was cripple or lame. However, brother Webster Dictionary speaks the oppsite he states, the word impotent means lacking power, lacking strength. The problems that he face is that he had no power. When Jesus replied he states "Rise, take up thy bed and walk". This man never got in the pool. Some of have been looking for breakthroughs the way some one else received. For 38 years he saw those who jump in first get healed. Let me help you, look to Jesus who is the author and the finsher of our faith. It does not matter who gets in the pool first any more. The race is not given to swift, nor to the strong but he that endureth to the end. If you learned to depend on God, He will direct you path. The steps of a good man is order by the Lord.
